It may look nice....... but after living in my house for 10 years and 2 comprehensive mostly cosmetic remodels, I decided the only way I was going to get the space to be able to invite people over (other than during the summer when the back patio was an option) was to increase the footprint. So in June I went to the bank to get an estimate of how much money I could spend and began working with a designer. I've always been attracted to the cape cod style houses so we focused developing a plan to bump out the back to expand the kitchen/dining room and add a 2nd story.
